Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and music producer. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. However, she's primarily musician. She maintains that music is her primary passion. It is something she has been dabbling at since she was 9 years old. The first time she began to study professional music when she was 12 years old. The year 2013 saw her take up songwriting and recorded her first album. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia is an American native and has Hispanic origins. Although she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic origins. She hopes to protect it by creating Spanish songs and taking classes in the Spanish language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she has recorded, can be a perfect instance. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen as a result of a YouTube video submission and received four "yes" no votes by the judge during the live audition phase in Seattle, Washington. She originally auditioned solo, but in "Hollywood week" she was put together with three female singers to form a trio during the remaining auditions. The live performances were held in the fifth week.
