Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best famous for her portrayal of Margo in 'The Magicians,' a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired through 2015 until today. Her previous work was recognized in the role of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing tumultuous personal experiences in the background of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". The film was later chosen in 2007 for a spot on the "Variety 10 Actors To Watch'. She played another powerful character, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 crime drama film "Crossing Over", for which she was nominated in the 'Independent Spirit Awards' in the 'Best Female lead category.
